The Workshop is intended to discuss the technological trends in digital libraries, discuss key issues involved in digital library development (using Greenstone Digital Library Open source software). Through this workshop, the participants come to know:
· Creating awareness on E-Resources
· E-resources format and standards
· Realising the importance of Institutional repositories
· Developing awareness of Digital Library Collection; and
· Enriching the participants on Digital Library on Open Resources (GSDL & DSpace)
The workshop consists of two lectures and three practical sessions.
The workshop mainly concentrates more on hands on experience than theoretical knowledge.

E-Resource collection
Software Installation
Adding metadata and
Advance features such as exporting collection to CD-ROM
